About Us and Chibicon

Well what is there to say?

Chibicon was started to show that if you put your mind to it anything can be done, so a group of us have worked hard to get everything in place for 2008. Chibicon has gone though countless problems, but thanks to the support of many friends it looks like we are here to stay. ^_^

Chibicon is a Convention aimed towards fans of all things Anime, Manga and Japanese. There are going to be lots of Anime inspired events, stalls and the like that you will be able to take part in as well as other guests that will give talks and the like. If you have never been to a convention before then don't worry! We will be working hard to make Chibicon extremely friendly to newcomers who have never been to a con before - and we pride ourselves on being able to let people of all ages attend. 09-08-2008: Wow! It's been quite a few weeks lately and I'm happy to say that there's now no tables left for traders. For those businesses that missed out, there's always next year so feel free to drop us an email to discuss that. Also we're right down to the last 60 tickets for Chibicon 2008! If you've not got yours yet then now really is the time, since at this rate we'll be sold out by the time it comes round to the convention! ^^; We've also added a new band and will be putting some more information up about certain events very soon.
